The ELLIS PhD Program is expanding once again: More than 50 exceptional early-career researchers from 20 different countries have joined the program following the 2021/2022 central recruitment round. Implemented by ELISE, ELLIS Phd Program aims to increase Europe’s competitiveness in modern AI by attracting and retaining the best talent in Europe.
NAIXUS Network is a new global initiative aiming to understand and take advantage of the opportunities AI offers to achieve SDGs and help solve burning challenges humanity is facing. The official launch will take place on May 4th, where professor Samuel Kaski will participate on behalf of ELISE.
This years Doctoral Symposium for ELLIS Phd and postdoc students will take place in Alicante from September 19-23, 2022. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their research, network with leading machine learning experts, and interact with each other at social events. The theme of this year’s ELLIS Doctoral Symposium is AI for Good - data for good, climate, health, and fairness. Application deadline: May 20, 2022!
This year’s Vision and Sports Summer School is taking place from 25–30 July 2022 in Prague and combines the best of both worlds: high-quality teaching on Computer Vision, and lots of fun with a variety of attractive sports. Application deadline: May 8th, 2022.
